Special Children Department
The department provides opportunities for the total development of the child and his specific talents through participation in school programs. It offers skills like fine motor and sensorial, communication and self-help. Classes are maintained with a small number of pupils to create a closee teacher-student relationship and a good environment for meaningful interaction, teaching and learning. Each class is handled by a trained teacher who is responsible for the pastoral care of students and who keeps close contact with parents.
The department strives to maximize students potentials through Individualized Education Program (IEP) and other related
activities in carrying out tasks.
It offers programs for students with learning disabilities, mental retardation (Down's Syndrome), autism, ADHD and other
behavioral/emotional problems.
