ACADEMIC PROGRAM
- Curriculum/Academic Program SLRI follows the learning competencles prescribed by the Department of Education, with minor modifications to suit the different needs and abilities of its students.
- Promotion and Failures
- As a general rule, promotion in the secondary course is by subject and by curriculum year. To pass in any subject a student must receive a final rating of 75%. A students who fails in 3 or more units will repeat the year. A student who fails in 1 or 2 units will have to take and pass summer classes.
- Promotion in the elementary course is by curriculum year. To pass, a student must receive a general average of 75%.
- Grading System
- There shall be 4 grading periods using the CUMULATIVE method in high school.
- For elementary, the AVERAGING method is used.
- Awards
- Medals, ribbons and certificates are awarded to deserving students who meet the criteria set by the school.
- Special awards and citations are also given to students who have rendered exemplary and meritorious services to the school.
