    1. Curriculum/Academic Program
    2.         SLRI follows the learning competencles prescribed by the Department of Education, with minor modifications to suit the different needs and abilities of its students.

    3. Promotion and Failures
      • As a general rule, promotion in the secondary course is by subject and by curriculum year. To pass in any subject a student must receive a final rating of 75%. A students who fails in 3 or more units will repeat the year. A student who fails in 1 or 2 units will have to take and pass summer classes.
      • Promotion in the elementary course is by curriculum year. To pass, a student must receive a general average of 75%.

    4. Grading System
      • There shall be 4 grading periods using the CUMULATIVE method in high school.
      • For elementary, the AVERAGING method is used.

    5. Awards
      • Medals, ribbons and certificates are awarded to deserving students who meet the criteria set by the school.
      • Special awards and citations are also given to students who have rendered exemplary and meritorious services to the school.
