Alumni & Churches

BID & the Graduates.  The Department’s training school is the Bible Institute for the Deaf.  BID has graduated 49 students since its founding in 1971.  Of the 49,  28 are female and 21 male;  31 are married and 18 single; 23 are active as leaders in the churches, 17 are active as members in the churches, 5 are inactive and 4, we don’t have contact at all;  8 are living abroad and 41 are in the Philippines (34 in Luzon, 2 in the Visayas and 5 in Mindanao).  There were 6 who graduated between 1970-80; 16 between 1981-90; 12 between 1991-2000 and 5 between 2001-04.
